The discussion on the implications of the battery-swapping demand forecast suggests that a nuanced understanding of DEMV operation is necessary. A key finding is the significant impact of increasing the swapping penetration rate on demand, highlighting the importance of strategic scaling of infrastructure.
Based on the research findings and sensitivity analysis conducted in this study, several policy implications have emerged that can guide the development of battery-swapping infrastructure for DEMVs, which are particularly relevant for China and other emerging market countries.
