Irregularities in the construction of the chip capacitor do not necessarily affect the mechanical or electrical integrity of the device, but may be of concern in high reliability applications. The capacitors shall be subjected to IEC 60068-2-21, Test Uc, as applicable. Method A, severity 2 (two successive rotations of 180°) shall be used.
