If the psu gets very cold and you start pc and do heavy stuff the psu could get warm all of the sudden and you could have condensation inside and could get damage in your psu. At the end of the day, it's just absurdly low benefits to always turning off the power supply by the switch.
After I shut down my PC daily I usually switch the power supply off as well, mainly because if I don't the light on my GPU will stay on all the time and I just feel safer turning the power supply off when I'm not using my PC. It doesn't really take that much more time at this point and I just won...
Turning off a power supply switch will not harm the power supply unless the switch itself fails. In fact, it can provide an additional layer of protection against surges when the unit is powered off. If the switch is in the on position, the unit can still use low voltage for some USB devices.
The only downsides to turning off the PSU switch when you shut down your computer are that it might break the switch. You should turn off the PSU switch if you will not be using your computer for a long period, if the power in your location is prone to brownouts or blackouts, or in case of a storm with a lot of lightning for fear of a surge. About the only times you should need to turn off the PSU switch.
Another silly argument (as in almost never the case) Depending where you live, leaving the 5v stand-by circuit enabled can help the power supply... basically, that small circuit can produce a very tiny amount of heat, but which could be enough to keep the psu somewhat warm inside, if you have the computer in cold rooms.
With a good mainboard battery, it is not needed to keep the PSU powered; however, in reality, mainboards will have issues if you cut off power all the time. Yes, it is true that motherboards start up slower if the power is turned off/PSU switched off.
Switching PSU off everytime you shut down? : r/buildapc
Yes, it is true. Motherboards start up slower if the power is turned off/PSU switched off. Even some motherboards have extra options for different type of boot-up (fast/normal) after "AC power loss". If your motherboard has a fast boot-up, then the PSU switch is turned off, the motherboard might do a double BIOS check. (PSU Switch ...

Is it bad to turn off my PSU at night?
Shutting off power to the PSU every day (by flipping the switch on the PSU, or by flipping the switch on the extension cord, or by unplugging the cable from the socket) causes a massive power surge to the main capacitor(s) when you turn it on the next day, called inrush current. This heavily stresses the primary side components in ...

Is it okay to leave PSU Switch On?
After losing not one but 2 (lame quality) power supplies to night surges I can only recommend switching off and unplugging. Don''t straight unplug while leaving the switch on because it''ll make a spark when you plug it back in (due to inrush current), and eventually burn the plug pins and socket contacts.

Powering ESP32 Projects with Batteries: A Detailed Guide
The ESP32 development board provides a couple options for connecting a battery power source: Vin Pin: The Vin pin feeds through the onboard regulator. This allows voltages up to 16V to be stepped down to a steady 3.3V output. 3.3V Output Pin: For a regulated 3.3V supply, you can directly connect to the 3.3V output pin. Bypasses onboard regulation.
