The smart bandage is used to monitor the extension and contraction changes of the extensor digitorum at the forearm (not the fingers) near the elbow during finger movements. A machine learning classifier is well-trained with the motion signals of the extensor digitorum at the forearm corresponding to gestures.
The components of the smart bandage system to control the door opening include a TTL/USB servo debugging version (PhantomEr Robotics official mall), a bus servo (PhantomEr Robotics official mall, LX-824), and an electric mobile door (Sunbeam Technology model small production).
When the flexible electrode and the bandage are bound together, the BMS-TENG shows an asynchronous tensile fracture, in which the flexible electrode breaks when at the strain reaches 502% and the bandage breaks when the strain reaches 530%. This phenomenon is mainly attributed to the compact multilayer composite structure.
With the support of machine learning, a smart bandage system capable of acquiring motion signals and recognizing intentions is proposed. The research on flexible and stretchable self-powered sensors perceiving human body motion and physiological signals has become a hot spot in recent years.
